I've gotten aboot 12 of his greens in two days, but no tomes. Kinda wonderin if he's worth it. UW scrolls are droppin pretty good tho.

In like 15 runs I've gotten an UW scroll the elite tome and various outher little tidbits, no green yet, but this is just another good spot to farm until bored to try others.

I've done roughly 4 hours grind for 8 elite tomes and about 20 greens. I farm long enough to gain a skillpoint, go somewhere else for a skillpoint, rinse and repeat. No point wasting consecutive hours if a tome doesn't drop.

ok after 15 ish runs i got one gold sword, 1 gold scroll, 4 normal scrolls, his green and some gold. not bad for bout 20 mins farming. could get bored pretty quick though so if i find some more prob good idea to keep switching

Took me 3 runs to relise that this is where i'll be for the next few months till GWEN... In 3 runs I got 2 greens and 1 elite monk tome, so yea.... BACK TO FARMING!

Wow man, thanks for the vid. I'd heard about the Necro build doing this easily, didn't think about doing it for a warrior. Damn, quick easy kill. Too bad I didn't beat Factions yet... *sigh*

I do it on a Mo/N, just as 55 so i can grab my loot easier. Though i find, even in hard mode, he drops nothing. I even had my friend join me on a run to see if that would affect it. It didn't... I know I am in hard mode. I drop em in ~45seconds and I've done about 30 runs. So far I've gotten 3 normal scrolls and about 200g

But nice idea, i think I'll add some skills you use to my build.

In 30-45 minutes last night I got 2 more elite tomes. Most of the time he drops nothing but at 8-10k a tome I don't mind.

Elite Monk tome dropped first run this morning, next run 311 gold, last run this morning....another elite Monk tome. As far as i can tell not nerfed.
Here's my drops from 15 runs, just completed -

Check out the percentage of gold drops. Only two no-drop runs, about 800 in gold not included in the shot.

Keep in mind that it *appears* anti-farm code is still active in HM. I usually get my best drops during the first total 2-3 hours of farming that specific location. After that it seems to result in lower drop rates of golds and rares. So move around between farming locations, do some quests or cap some skills.

I farm one spot long enough to rack up a skill point and rotate between a number of locations and / or characters. My W/N hits Byzzr maybe once a day or two for 20 mins tops. No problems with elite tome drops, that's 10 in less than 5 hours of farming this run. Over 25 greens racked up as well.

It's as much about strategy as tactic folks...play smarter, not longer.

It's not anti-farm code, it's incentive code. The first bit of time you farm an area it had high profit. Then it rotates on a scale of randomly having 'bursts' of good stuff. Then nothing again. I seen this exact code in at least 5-6 farming areas. If you farm long enough you can see an evarage patern of success but it has medium to long periods of dry spells. But the more mobs you kill per run the more frequent you get drops.
